What is pink noise?

Pink noise has equal energy in each octave. Compared with white noise, its high frequencies are less prominent, so it often sounds softer. Compared with brown noise, it has more of an open, rushing character.

A sound for winding down.

Try pink noise as a quiet background while you read or settle into your evening. Compare it with brown at a comfortable volume and choose by how it sounds to you. NoiseWeave does not promise sleep or treat sleep conditions.

Weave means mix · The forthcoming app

Soften it. Deepen it. Make it yours.

In the forthcoming app, weave pink with a little brown for a deeper foundation, or white for more air. Adjust the balance, save your personal mix and set a timer to let it fade.

Is pink noise better than brown noise?

Neither is the best choice for everyone. Brown leans toward the low end; pink keeps more upper-frequency detail. Use the preview to compare their character, adjusting the volume if one seems louder.
